Husbandry 44 Workshops
Our friend Peter Bourke, http://www.menyourmarriagematters.com, has developed an amazing workshop in which every man we know should be a part. Nearly 400 men have participated over the last 14 years. It has been a game changer for most, and with Peter’s blessing, Jesus Spoken Here facilitates workshops with Dr. Jim Vaught, Steve Knoblock, and Casey Sanders
We half-jokingly named our version “HUSBANDRY “44.” The word “husbandry” refers to the care of livestock, and we recognize that many of us act pig-headedly as husbands, so we felt it was memorable and appropriate.
What about the “44”? That is the number of words used in the most instructive verse in the Bible about being a Husband — 1 Peter 3:7. Thus, HUSBANDRY “44”. Look it up.
Whether you have an “adequate” marriage or one that is struggling, we’d like to invite you to join us for 6 weeks to illuminate God’s Design for being a Husband. The workshop premise is that as men, we have the ability to transform our marriage relationship, starting with us.
The word “Workshop” best describes how these 6 weeks unfold. We think out loud together and wrestle within the laboratory of our marriages.
Gaining an understanding of God’s Design for Husbands and His empowerment to be a Husband is mission-critical in transforming marriages to become thriving and abundant.
